Analyze machine issues and identify root causes through mechanical and control system troubleshooting, including support for customer claim investigations.
Design, develop, and improve machine mechanisms, components, and automation systems to enhance safety, quality, productivity, and reliability.
Develop, modify, and troubleshoot PLC, HMI, and machine control programs.
Prepare engineering drawings, 3D models, and technical documentation for machine and part fabrication.
Conduct feasibility studies, design analysis, and simulations to validate machine improvements.
Manage automation and machine improvement projects, including planning, implementation, and commissioning.
Collaborate with process engineers, production teams, and vendors on machine design, fabrication, installation, and system integration.
Set up and optimize machine monitoring, maintenance data collection, and machine-to-IT communication systems.
Identify technical risks and implement appropriate control measures for machine performance and reliability.
Drive continuous improvement and Industry 4.0 initiatives through automation, digitalization, and smart manufacturing technologies.
Requirements :
Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical & Electronics Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, or a related field.
Experience in machine automation, mechanical design, PLC & HMI programming, CAD/3D modeling (SolidWorks preferred), and machine troubleshooting.
Knowledge of industrial communication, machine-to-IT integration, GD&T, engineering design analysis, and project execution.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
Knowledge of SCADA, Digital Twin, Industrial IoT/Wireless Sensors, SolidWorks Simulation, Power BI, or RPA will be an added advantage.
