Analyze machine mechanisms to identify root causes of major issues or defects, including support for customer claim investigations.
Identify potential risks in machine mechanisms and propose appropriate countermeasures or design improvements.
Redesign machine mechanisms or parts and conduct feasibility studies to enhance production machines in terms of safety, quality, productivity, and cost efficiency.
Design jigs and fixtures to improve ease of work, ergonomics, and efficiency for technicians and operators.
Liaise with vendors on the design, fabrication, and procurement of machines and machine parts.
Collaborate with vendors and internal stakeholders during machine or mechanism installation, setup, and testing, leading project activities through to mass production (MP) when required.
Prepare detailed machine specifications, technical documents, and design requirements.
Requirements :
Bachelor’s Degree in Mechatronics, Mechanical, or Electrical/Electronic Engineering, or an equivalent discipline.
Hands-on experience in automated machine troubleshooting, covering both mechanical and electrical systems.
Fundamental knowledge of PLC systems, with preference for Mitsubishi, Keyence, or Yaskawa platforms, as well as practical understanding of servo motor control, sensors, pneumatic, and vacuum systems.
Ability to read and produce technical drawings, with proficiency in SolidWorks and AutoCAD.
Experience in preventive maintenance (PM) and effective handling of machine breakdowns as well as proven capability in machine modification, optimization, and continuous improvement.
